A Note from the Founder
To the parents, coaches, and players who live for the early morning skates and the late-night puck drops...
I’ve spent a lot of time at the rink cheering on my two boys as they grew up in the game—from the wobbly first steps of Learn-to-Play to town hockey, high school, and beyond. I may not be the one on the skates, but I’ve spent enough hours in the stands to appreciate the rhythm, the community, and the costs of this sport.
I know the frustration of watching a ~$350 stick snap just a week (or 31 days) after you bought it. I’ve seen how the "hockey budget" can become a source of stress for families, as the price of staying on the ice continues to climb.
I started Puck Motion to help change that.
Through my work with Integral Hockey Lowell, I’ve helped hundreds of players in the Merrimack Valley save money with lifetime-warranty-backed stick repairs. But I wanted to do more than just fix sticks. I wanted to create a brand that celebrated the lifestyle of the game while actually helping to fund it.
That’s why every piece of Puck Motion apparel comes with a Stick Assist. It’s my way of making sure that when you gear up to look good in the lobby or on the street, you’re also making it a little easier to stay on the ice.
Whether you’re a local dropping off a stick at my shop in Lowell or a player discovering us from across the country, thank you for being part of this.
See you at the rink,
Dan Cote Founder, Puck Motion & Owner, Integral Hockey Lowell
